Rachelle Zukerman Ph.D.

Dr. Zukerman has provided litigation support to attorneys in California, Oregon, Nevada, Montana, and Pennsylvania since 1998. She has assisted lawyers and testified in both plaintiff and defendant cases

Dr. Zukerman’s areas of expertise include:

  • State and Federal regulations governing Skilled Nursing Homes, Board & Care, Assisted Living, Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE), Adult Day Health Care Centers, Adult Day Care and Home Health Care.
  • Elder abuse (including physical, mental, emotional, and fiduciary).
  • Elder neglect
  • Mental status of the elderly (including dementia, depression and the evaluation of mental capacity and susceptibility to undue influence). 
  • Sexual behavior among institutionalized elderly
  • The Olmstead Decision as it pertains to institutionalized elderly. 
She is the author of the popular Eldercare for Dummies and 6 other books on aging and counseling. Dr. Zukerman is Professor Emeritus of Social Welfare, UCLA and a Fulbright Scholar (1998-99).
